More progress has been made refurbishing my collection of models painted decades ago. Hence the rather random nature of the ships completed. British ships have now received their refit and the Italians and Germans are next in line.
All are 1/3000th scale Navwar models.

Superb work on those Jon and as mentioned before, the brighter blue sea works a treat. BTW in my Blog feed, Turn 4 of the Malay Campaign is highlighted with some text and map shown in the 'preview', but when clicking on the link, it says the page does not exist?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Steve. Unfortunately I had a brain malfunction (doing too many things at once!) and inadvertently published an unfinished post. I realised what I had done as soon as I published it and immediately cancelled it. I was rather hoping that it would have been removed from any links in other blogs which clearly was not the case. My apologies Steve. I hope to have the finished article published in the next few days and in the meantime will post a brief explainer of what happened to avoid any confusion. Many thanks for bringing this to my attention.
DeleteGreat work Jon - I really like the Tyne, not having seen her before. I'm also surprised at the length of the minelayer Adventure. I'm also having the same experience as Steve above with the Turn 4.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Richard. Yes the Adventure was a hefty ship. Also thanks for bringing to my attention the problem post - please note my explainer to Steve above.
